Moral of the story is so far the only 2-0 series is the series where Hammond has been real bad. I fully expect TB to win today making that series 1-1. We'll see about the Blues.

By the time they drop the puck tonight in our game, 4 or 5 of the other series will be tied 1-1. That should hopefully have us ready for a big Pens push tonight. This is their series. I see no shot they win 4 of 5 if they lose tonight. So they need a W tonight.

    I'm just wary of referee decision-making.......Ranger poor PP;
they must start to put those nails into the Pen goon tactics.
No word on Klein yet. Guess he's not ready for the hard smashing.

I want to throw up............NHL still showing toothless Bobby Clarke hoisting
the damn SC to promote the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Give me a break.

Tampa Bay and St. Louis are evening-up their series. Bolts 4-0
over Red Wings entering the 3rd period. Blues up on Wild 2-0
near the end of the 2nd period; Blues game could be worse for
Wild if not for Dubnyk; standing on his head in 2nd period.

Like I said, welcome to the NHL playoffs. Teams know when you go down 2-0 in a series you are in HUGE trouble, so they come out on fire in game 2.

Barring some big 3rd periods six series will be through two games and five will be 1-1. Rangers should be focused and ready for tonight. We go up 2-0 and the series is just about over. We know it and most importantly the Pens know it. Pens win and we have a series that could be 6 or 7 games.

Everything tonight will depend on clearing their zone and transitioning
on the offense.........Pens thwarted Rangers in periods 2 & 3 from
transitioning. How will Rangers counter act in Game 2?
AV needs to have several schemes to thwart Pens. Players just have
execute & stay out of penalty box.

Minnesota has found its game and are pushing hard for the
tying goal. Backes just prevented Wild from tying this game
with his stick save on the goal line behind Dubnyk. As I've
said 'be in the right place at the right time' & luck be
    soooooooooooooo kind.

How does a D man let the puck carrier come into your zone
untouched. The puck carrier kept coming closer and closer
and boom......a goal. Blues will win this game; it's 4-1 with
    a Tarasenko hat trick.

Must win for the Blues and they got it done. How game 2 usually works. 5 series tied 1-1. All six home teams have won game 2 thus far.

Larry Brooks writes that the last time the Rangers won Game 1 and Game 2 of a series at Madison Square Garden was in 1994 against the Islanders.

He says that the Rangers have had home ice for a series eight times since then and have split the first two games six times and lost both twice.

Game 3 Wild dominate Blues at home 3-0.

Winnipeg game is unreal. This game is going back and forth.
Pegs lead 4-3 and the end of 2 periods. This game is thrilling.
Hats off to the frenzied Winnipeg fans. Helluva sight. Wow.

How about the Jets. Down 3-0 in the series.

Game 1 Ducks scored 3 goals total in the 3rd period, and 2 goals in the last 7 minutes to win 4-2. Game 2 Ducks scored 2 goals in the final 10 minutes of the 3rd period, including the winner with 20 seconds left, to win 2-1. Game 3 Ducks scored the tying goal with 2:14 left in the game and then scored in OT to win 5-4.

    Crazy stuff. Jets cannot close.

Now. that's a series I'd like to see go longer, like 6 games or 7.

He got Zucc as well at the end of the game with a few jabs to the back of the head, while his team was down 1 with a minute to go. Great time to for him to take that kind of penalty, hes got obvious issues with his self control.

Tuesday, Apr 21.....GM 4 Caps at Isles 1-1 in 2nd. Wilson of Caps showing what
goons do....totally off his game. These two teams in OT 1-1.
    * Caps win in 1st OT on Backstrom goal...2-1. Series tied 2-2.

    GM 3 Bolts at Red Wings...Wings up 1-0 into the 3rd. Mrazek stoning Bolts;
Wings added a 2nd goal in the 3rd period. Wings shut out Bolts 3-0.
    * Wings up in series 2-1.

Preds & Hawks 1-1 in 1st period. Preds lead 2-1 early 3rd period. Hawks
tie game in 3rd period, 2-2. Then the ultimate: both teams go to TRIPLE OT
and Darling & Hawks rein in the Preds
    , 3-2 to take a commanding
3-1 lead in games. A total of 100 SOG. Darling was the star of this game.

    Flames up 1-0 early in 1st period; Flames up 2-1 all scores are PP goals in 1st;
Flames up 3-1 at the end of 2nd. If I were a Canuck fan, why would they start
Lack over Miller? Lack allowed 3 goals on 7 shots. Miller took over. Flames win 3-1.
    *Flames take 3-1 in series.

    SATURDAY APRIL 25TH 2015

Caps up on Isles 3-2 in games. Caps at Isles. Will it be a sad
    ending on Island?
Hawks up on Preds 3-2. Preds at Hawks. Hawks should close out Preds.
Flames up on Canucks 3-2. Canucks at Flames. Will Flames
    clinch at home?

Which of these series goes the limit? I'm picking the Canucks-Flames series.
    The others should end today.

Lightning, Red Wings even 2-2. Bolts should win today.
