Has the NBA changed for good or for worse since you started watching it?Some rules I liked:-The review of the last shot before the clock expires in regulation, it used to kill the Raptors all the time.-The allowance of zone defense-The NBA on a global basis, and the NBA Cares program. Some Rules I Didnt like:- That people in the dunk contest can try as many as they want until they score (I dont know how long thats been there)- Stern's dress code.-The no blocking while the player is in motion call.
Do you really care about the Dress Code? I think deep down, nobody really gives a rip about the dress code, except for the players.

The dunk contest rule was only changed last year so little Mr. Robinson could win it... :ranting: :brickwall: :censored2:
I hate the the pussification of the game. defense is all but illegal. I hate how the league has tried to adapt the league so it would fit the players instead of forcing the players to adapt to the league. I don't like the globalness of the NBA, for ever good european player there are serveral sh*tty ones. the same can be said for american players but most american players can play defense.I do like the review of the last second shots. and I actually do like the charge zone because it encourages players to go inside more.
The NBA has turned into a pussy league, defense is nonexistant, no rivalries...all you have to do is be touched and it's a foul. I honestly don't watch much NBA anymore...not nearly as much as I used to...it's sad...I'd much rather watch an NFL game...
I haven't really noticed much change at all. I became a fan in 2003 and because I dont have cable I havent been able to watch many games. So, I'll watch the NBA no matter what.
I actually like almost everything the league has done. The dress code and technical rules were great. David Stern is an excellent commissioner, even though he rules with an iron fist. The salary cap is great too. I don't really like the new defense rules, but I understand why they did it. Teams like Pat Riley's Knicks were just killing the game. Basically it got to the point where physical strength mattered just as much as skill, and that's not how it should be. I do think they went a little too far but something needed to be done. The only thing I really hate is the calls that Dwayne Wade and other superstars get. The rules should be the same for everybody.
