First of all he is an avowed Yankee Hater, went as far to refuse to wear a Yankee Hat in one of his movie roles.
Okay I get it now, its not an acting thing its a Yankee thing. I didn't know that. So yeah, he's an asshole & I'll wait until the movie comes out on video, which I probably would have done anyway.
Speaking of Superman always reminds me of George Reeves the actor who played Superman on TV when I was a kid. Always remember the crook shooting at him while he stood his ground. After the crook emptied his gun and threw it old Supe would duck.
I always found it funny that no matter which window he jumped through, none of them ever had glass or frames in them. And I always thought Noel Neil was hot.
Saw Affleck play George Reeves in "Hollywood Land. Adrian Brody played a Private Eye investigating the circumstances of Georges Reeves Death. Prior to that I had read articles on the mystery of Reeves alleged suicide. Seems like old George was dipping the wick with some MGM big shots wife. Not a good gig in Hollywood if you're a late forties actor typecast as Superman. I read that Reeves had gotten some real treatment when he showed up as Superman, kids kicking him ect, ect. One kid did show up with a loaded weapon and Reeves talked the kid out of shooting saying the bullet might bounce of him (Reeves) and hurt some one else.
The decision to use Affleck, is/was a very poor one..... Ben will tank this Brand, ie, Batman Movies........!!! His lower lip, makes him look like a child having a temper tantrum, or he's doing his best Mussolini Impersonation......~! Now that Disney owns outright both D.C. and Marvel, wonder when we will see something special......??? A crossover, an Amalgam?
I didn't know Disney owned DC too... wonder what that means for 6-flags... are they now Disney parks?
That's a very good question? Give me some time, and I'll find out "fer yer" .... (Arky Linguistics, which Rick taught me)..... I'd imagine there may be a connection, to use Batman and Superman Rides, or MM-6 Flags, may of paid a royalty to use their copyright images, but, as long as 6 Flags have had these rides, I'd imagine Disney may or more than likely may own 6 Flags. Give me til tonight, and I'll come up with an answer........ thanks for pointing this out Hammer-Chief Caveman, Keeper of Thor's Hammer...!
Ok, homework is done...... Angus Wynne founded 6 Flags over Dallas in 61, and withing decades, Six Flags Franchised out considerably. Although 6 Flags Theme Parks utilize D.C. Characters, Universal Studios utilizes Marvel and D.C.; rides/attractions from: The Hulk, Spiderman, the Avengers, Justice League, Superman, Batman, Looney Tunes, et al. "6 Flags Licensing agreement with DC Comics and Warner Bros. Consumer Products allows Six Flags the exclusive theme park rights to many of the world's greatest cartoon characters and super heroes, from Bugs Bunny and his Looney Tunes friends to DC Comics Super Heroes Batman, Robin, The Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Flash." No connection to Disney otherwise......
