I'll take Rolo over both. He offers more than what the other two can. It's not even a question. I don't take 2 games to attribute who sucks and who is good.

    You'd make a horrible GM. :)

I've needed a reason to buy a new protective cup!

Wanting and getting are two different things.

Logic is not your strong suit.

Are you trying to say you'd rather have RoLo and LA over DeAndre Jordan and LA... please tell me you would rather have DeAndre Jordan over Lopez. One guy is going to be an all defensive first team center and on all-nba team, is athletic as hell, and a quick-footed, athletic, shut down shotblocker. The other is RoLo.

And Deandre would lose us games with his FT shooting by either having to be benched later in games or missing said free throws.

    It's really that simple.

Still way better than Robin Lopez. Often this year Stotts didnt go down the stretch of the fourth with RoLo anyway. Can't hack-a-player in the last two minutes of the game. DeAndre Jordan locking down the paint at the close would be HUGE.

I have been thinking he leaves too, except to where?

San Antonio? Only if Duncy retires, and I don't see that happening
    Dallas? Ditto Dirk
Lakers? Why? LaMarcus doesn't strike me as a big city guy anyway
Knicks? Ditto, and who would want to play with Carmelo?

So, in actuality, where does he go that is worth a $30 million pay cut?

He lives in LA. Does Aldridge's kids go to school in Oregon? I don't know, but I do know he lives in Newport Beach near Kobe.

He's still also a single guy isn't he? Wouldn't he want to go live somewhere that there are women on his level?

Dallas is his hometown I believe. Be near him mom and his family and what he's used to.

Aldridge would only go to San Antonio if Duncan retires and he would only go to Dallas if Dirk retires? I disagree with that.

This will be franchise-destroying if he leaves. Even Wes Mattthews won't be worth resigning if Aldridge is gone.

It'll be Dame Lillard and a bunch of bench scrubs.

    Saying this for years
I really don't think anyone knows what LA is going to do. I suspect even LA might not. I wouldn't be shocked either way.

However, if he does leave, I think the Blazers would be better off just going bad for a few years and acquiring assets than doing say a sign and trade for Love that would probably keep the team around 10th in the West and out of the high lottery, where it would need to be if it's to get another Aldridge-level talent or two around which to build.

It'll be ugly. As much as I hate the idea of another rebuild, if LMA leaves it makes sense to clear max cap space and try to find upgrades over RoLo, Batum, and a gimpy Wes. If they re-sign everybody else and try to stay the course - it will be even uglier. Without LMA this roster is MAYBE playing for an 8th seed, and that is being generous.

We wouldn't even be 8th seed in the East without Aldridge.
