The Celtics are losing, but they're putting up a fight. And who've they got? Realistically they shouldn't be IN the playoffs. Danny Ainge did all he could to prevent it. Their coach is a miracle worker. He's even got Evan Turner looking like a real player.

Also: if Jae Crowder is available, I'd love us to go after him. He's like somewhere between Draymond Green and Kenneth Faried.

    His knees aren't done.

He had the same thing done as Westbrook. He's not done either.

The Bucks ain't the Grizzlies? Jimmy Butler is healthy but Wes Matthews isn't?

Not to be a party-pooper, but
    (a) The Pelicans have probably the 3rd or 4th best player in the league (who will BE the best by the time he's 25).
    (b) They had a better 2nd half record (25-16) than us (21-20)
    (c) They've probably beaten the Warriors some time this decade, but I don't think that's true of us and the Grizzlies

NOP now up by 19. They are totally tearing GSW apart at both ends. The most encouraging aspect is how much more energy and confidence they have playing in front of the home crowd. If we can bring that on Saturday, we can definitely beat MEM and get back in this series. MEM successfully defended their home court. Now it's our turn to do the same.

It's Dante Cunningham. We lost our soul when we let him go...

It sucks losing Matthews because I want to see how well this team could really play at full strength, but I think this also shows the fragility of this roster. I’m not downplaying Matthews contributions to the team, but if your third best (non all-star) player goes down and your team falls apart, then you’re just flat out not a championship contender.

Houston is proof of this. Harden has had a ton of injuries around him and he’s carrying Houston to an awesome regular season and likely a round one playoff win. But the Blazers can’t win because one of their non All-Star starters gets injured? If that’s the case, it doesn’t seem like the foundation of this team is strong enough.

If we’re saying this team can’t win a title because of injuries, that’s one thing. But we’re talking about not being able to even compete in the first round of the playoffs. That’s a completely different thing.

Warriors getting a good old fashioned ass kicking. Doesn't like a title contender to me.

Might be Grizz/Cavs finals this year. Does that intrigue you?

Yes. I think Cavs would win though. The Grizzlies are good at defense but I don't think they can contain the Cavs for 7 games.

I wonder if we could trade for a guy like Ryan Anderson?

This is exactly who crossed my mind after our horrible injury issues this season.

Also why would we want Anderson when we have Oscar Meyers?

New Orleans got too focused on yelling at the Warriors bench instead of continuing to build the lead.

Their young. This year is just the appetizer. AD hasn't even reached his ceiling at all yet. He just needs a solid sidekick and they'll be another headache to worry about in the future
