40 years old with a season ending surgery, yeah, I'd say he was done.

Most Die Hard Detroit Fans, view this all as great news. Now for Joba...........??? They're not to happy with Joba either, and most Tiger Fans say "Good fkn riddance to Nathan", he never was what they thought they were getting, and blew a few too many games, leads, et al. The guy has been flat out washed up for 3 yrs......

With all the money Joe has made, plus the fact that the Tigers will probably cover the surgery I can't say I'm sorry for him. Surprised though that as good a baseball man and GM as he is Dombrowski can't seem to build a good pen for that Team.

Dombrowski, seems to have no problem, finding SP after SP to replace a Cy Young winner, a 15 game winner, NTM-Fister too. After a torrid hot start, with their SP's hurling 24 shutout innings, the Tigers look today vs Cleveland, they're getting by on approx 80% Offensive Wins.

A hot pace, a 4 game loss streak.......not even the AL Central Teams seem to have found their true groove, but will they? as the year goes forward?

Otherwise its going to be another long season, with no gravy on the Tigers Potatoes, this year either.....

I can easily see 3 Teams in the AL Central in PS.....but then anything can change over night in MLB, that's the beauty of our sport.....!

ah oh, you might of stepped into that one rick.

Here's a real scenario, I witnessed way back in 79. Place: Lockheed- A young kid comes into work late, at lunch time, the day half over. The Supv. say's: "why are you always late and never call?"; Empl0yee: "Because I got laid last night"....Supervisor: "So does your Asshole hurt?"..........true story......!

Dombrowski isn't in a soft division any longer.
No longer playing over 50 games vs easy targets.
His days of winning the division with 88-90 wins could be over.
