Rasheed Wallace out two games with ankle injury

    <span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%">Rasheed Wallace expected to miss two games</span>AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace will miss the next two games with an ankle injury.Team president of basketball operations Joe Dumars made the announcement Friday, saying Wallace will sit out Saturday's game at New Jersey and against Seattle at The Palace on Sunday.Wallace has been bothered by a sore right ankle for more than a week.Wallace is averaging 13.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game this season.Link

    yeah hopefully this means that Maxiel will get starter minutes...or like 25 a game. But I say with sheed out we lose against the nets and beat the Sonics.

    I hope you guys keep on losing. :nasty: Lol, but I think Sheed wont matter vs. Seattle. Nets thats another story.

    I'm not used to injuries to our starting lineup. Nobody was injured hardly when the Ben was here, and seeing Rasheed hurt is different and hard to take in. But hopefully he will be okay. He's a huge part to the team.

    If you wanted a PF for this exact fill-in situation, wouldn't it be Dyess? The weird thing is he's still scheduled to be on Stephen A Smith's show tonight.

    Wow - we barely see injuries on the Pistons - this is pretty rare, but I'm glad it's happening early in the season rathar than have these problems later where it matters.

    This could be good for Sheed. It will give him some fresh legs and hopefully he'll come out with a spark when he's back.

    They are saying that his ankle is being unresponsive to rest...Rasheed's body declining continues.....
