ISLANDERS AND CAPS GOING 7

    Rooting for the Isles big, but favor the Caps pretty comfortable. Just hard for me to see the Isles with that D winning in DC without last change and worse matchups. I also don't trust Halak at all.

    That last L against CBJ will haunt the Isles as game 7 is in DC. That and game 2, which is a game the Isles clearly should have won.

    Truth be told I haven't been that impressed with the Caps. Outside of game 5 I don't love how they have looked. Short rest for them, home ice for us, OV and Backstrom on one line. Stay out of the box and I think we beat the Caps.

    A Ranger/Islander series would be more fun.

    Yeah, close in terms of who we should root for, but NYI/NYR would be a ton of fun. Truth be told at days end I think both teams are similar so not sure it matters which team wins game 7. Both will be long, tough, physical series. Just happy we got 7.

    The Caps will do something stupid to blow game 7. Isles 4-2.
