After watching these guys play together lately I have just been in awe. They have been working great together and they will be impossible to stop in the playoffs. Both have some amazing post moves that they displayed tonight. Now with Amare back Diaw is matched up against smaller guys and he can absolutely destroy them in the post and most big men are too slow to stop either of them. Diaw is finally being more aggressive like he was last year and just got a triple double tonight. And he's been making some nice passes to Amare too. Amare has been throwing down some nice dunks too, I'm really surprising how fast he's gotten back to almost what he used to be, but even when he doesn't dunk he's just so good at getting 3 point plays. He's just so strong. And you can't forget that both of them have gotten themselves a pretty reliable mid-range game which has me really excited. I'm just really liking these two on the floor at once, they are going to be unstoppable soon! Then you throw in Marion, Nash who has been better than ever, a much improved(again)Barbosa, Bell and the vet with the crazy glare KT and I just can't wait for them to get another shot at the top Western Conference teams. Especially if James Jones gets his shot back because he has been playing very well besides that.
Absolutely agree with all points... The Suns are playing phenomenally so far, and they're only going to get BETTER I think... I feel they've gotta good shot at reaching their best winning record at 62-20, and possibly going beyond that mark... I agree with Jones, his shot is non-existant, and hasn't been since last season... It's too bad he, Marcus Banks, and Jalen Rose aren't playing a bit better (but they're pretty limited on minutes still too of course)....
Maybe Jones will start shooting well after they bring the new ball back maybe. I sure hope he does because he has been very good defensively and he's a very smart player. He's pretty athletic too, he can get you 4 blocks any night but we really need another shooter. We only have 3 and at least 1 is cold almost every game.
I disagree... With guys like Nash, Marion, Bell and Diaw and then you've got Rose coming off the bench... I think they'll be fine, because not only do they got a great outside game of course... But you've got them slashing to the hoop with Amare' and Diaw as well.And if you can believe this, Nash's stats are HIGHER than they've ever been, higher than both his last 2 MVP seasons! That's unbelievable!
Rose hasn't been good at all though and he is not a 3-point shooter at all which is something that the Suns always need when running this style. And Jones is just so far away from Rose on defense and rebounding it's not even funny. I'd rather see him be our 3rd man. Diaw is not a 3-point shooter btw....that's what I was talking about, he's like 3/7 or something for the entire season. And Marion gets 1/3 down if we're lucky.
