I don't think you can have Yandle and Boyle together. Two offensive dmen whom aren't GREAT defensively. I really wouldn't mind splitting up Staal and Klein. I'd try Boyle Yandle for a bit and see if it worked, but I have my concerns.
Agree to disagree with what? I said Rangers in 7 games, so unless you are picking the Caps to win the series, which is cool, OR you are picking the Rangers easy, not sure what you are disagreeing with cage.
We'll see which way AV goes. Could go Staal/Boyle and Yandle/Klein, but then you have Boyle against the 2nd line. He may just stack up and match his 3rd pair against the 3rd and 4th lines of the Caps especially at home. Interesting watch.
1st round reflection: Rangers in 5 - team and games correct. Caps in 5 - team correct, Isles much tougher than I thought. Habs in 6 - team and games correct. TB in 6 - most likely team correct, took them 1 extra game. Blues in 7 - wrong team and wrong in games. Hawks in 6 - team and games correct. Ducks in 6 - team correct, sweep for the Ducks. Canucks in 6 - wrong team, correct # of games. If the Bolts win 6 correct teams, and 3 series correct team and exact games. Not awful.
Just being the ultimate homer as usual. Makes me laugh. And I agree Mess...that is a plus even as missing Zucc is a minus.
NYR in 7 over the Caps. TB in 6 over the Habs. Hawks in 7 over the Wild (boy do I want to pick the Wild...GO WILD!!!). Ducks in 6 over the Flames (could be 5).
Game 1 is expected to be on Thursday, Game 2 is expected to be Saturday, Game 3 is expected to be Monday in Washington and Game 4 is expected to be Wednesday in Washington. (Prewitt) I wish the Saturday game wasn't a very quick turnaround at 12 PM to lead into the Derby, but so be it.
Isles with 11 shots the whole game and only 3 of those shots by forwards as mentioned. That's the way to play a game 7. Not good. Oh and they went 0-14 on the PP in the series.
Red Wings throttling Bolts late into 2nd period. Held Bolts to 12 SOG. And they are a NHL Offensive juggernaut. Playoff hockey is a totally different game. Oh, the score is 0-0. Detroit is playing a great 'away' game.
It is unbelievable that Stamkos has not scored one freaking goal in this series. What a job by Babcock and the wings.
In the end of tonight's game, it was Bishop who closed out the Red Wings. Well, all the series are set. Goalies should be the story.
