http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/437..._to_move_banks/Well, he's not doing as well as I'd hoped, and since he's not getting minutes anyway, I say we trade him. I don't know who we'd get though... :/
I would love to have a guy like Banks on the Lakers. We could make a deal with Vlad Rad, who is also not getting that many minutes and not really playing to expectation, and who would most certainly flourish playing along side Steve Nash. Vlad Radmanovic,Sasha, some picks maybe(2nd rounders) for Banks and Jumaine Jones. What do you think?

Awww... poor Mah-cus. I agree 100% that he would fit beautifully in LA. He's fast, he can penetrate and kick, and he's a defensive assassin. I don't know how the minutes would look while splitting with Smush and Farmar though.

If we could get Vlad though that would help the 3-point shooting which is something that would be good to have for us.
NO WAY. IF WE GET VLAD CRAPMANOVIC, I GIVE UP ON THE SUNS AND I'M GOING TO STORM INTO D'ANTONI'S OFFICE AND KICK HIM IN THE NUTS. Vlad sucks!!!!
You wouldn't give up on the Suns.... Vlad is no better than Banks and Banks is no better than Vlad. I think they should hang onto Banks though for now, but I wouldn't be heart-broken if they DID trade him away.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Noah @ Dec 18 2006, 05:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Then why'd they sign Tim Thomas last year?</div>
It's the truth. A big man who can shoot and was clutch in the playoffs last year could be useful. Way more so than a guy who isn't what we thought he was and will spend the season on the bench. If Vlad didn't get payed so much then I'd do it.

Tim Thomas grabs rebounds and can do some post stuff, at least moreso than Rad. Plus they paid T2 about 1/4th of what they'd pay Radman. Stupid comment.

I made you look like an ass, because it's true. Tim Thomas is NOT known for any of his rebounding or post play... He's known as a PF who can nail it from the outside. You're the one making dumbass comments... The Suns could use Radmanovic more than you think.
