Well, I am on the JV team, and I am the starting PG and our team had a KILLER game yesterday. We played against a team called Sam Houston High School, who is one of the best 4A teams in the city. Their JV team was 9-1 before we played them, and they were freaking huge, athletic, and talented. They had 3 guys in their starting lineup over 6 foot 4 inches, and we dont even have one. We won by 38 points, and I honestly have no idea how. Well, when their starters were in the game, they kept it close but it was like a 10-15 point game for the majority of the time. They didnt have much depth so when they put their bottom 5 in, and we put ours in, we ended up raising the lead to 38 from 15 in 6 minutes. It was our best game of the year and our record is now 7-2. It was a sick game....we must have shot 70 percent from the field and 60+ percent from the 3 point line.
