CJ is better suited to come off the bench as our microwave. I could see starting Meyers though.

Normally I would agree, but Afflalo was completely useless because he's obviously still hurt.

Better not have! If that is what saved his job, I would rather we had gotten swept.

Basically impossible for CJ to do better than he did. Big chance of him falling on his face though.

People in here throwing players and the coach under the bus. You're insane if you honestly want Aldridge to leave.

I know expectations were high after reaching the 2nd round last year. But if you can't comprehend that injuries can create this type of inconsistency. I don't know what to tell you.

I honestly wish you could trade portions of a fan base away during the off-season. What a joke.

How can he have his best game as a pro, while having a big chance of falling on his face in the same game?

Rational fans should have expected this result with our heart and soul and other players out.

You said start him. I saying we got 110% or more of what even CJ thought he could do. Replay the game with him starting and odds are 9 out of 10 times it comes in at less.

The thing is our coach didn't even make the adjustments to win until the last minute basically. If LA played as good if not just a tad less than what he has been all season we would see a game 6 IMHO.

With him scoring at will, odds are we wouldnt have been down 10-0 to start the game.

Labrum injury. Mine took six months, then longer to get back to pre-injury form. But I'm old. :)

Batum's was about 4 months, IIRC. But he was a young cat, in prime condition, with personal trainers.

And was noticeably favoring his knee the rest of the game.

How did the refs not see he was tripped in the open court (foul) leading to a turnover and a score?

I'm starting to think all southern basketball crowds are moron homers -- Houston, OKC, and now Memphis -- they boo every single time something doesn't go their way. Fuck Memphis' fans. I hope GS sweeps their asses out.

Gah! So you are the reason we couldn't hold on!

And I thought it was the refs fucking us over, giving Memphis the lead, then the Blazers responding by taking shitty shots.
