He doesn't want to be a low post player. He whined about not having a center to do the dirty work inside. LA would actually be better as a center.
If LA will except our offer, I hope to hell it doesn't have a no-trade clause. We need flexibility to get out from under our mistake.
Zach has alway been a low-post scorer. Impossible. With the cap grossly increasing, his $30m/per anchor would be toxic.
I love LMA, was excited since day one. That being said, I will be thrilled if we keep him but I would also be very interested in what we could do with the money he leaves behind.
Kevin Love would be Stotts' wet dream and y'all know it! What's better than one Leonard? Two Leonard's.
I disagree. Baby Sabonis will be the superior player when all the dust has settled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Barkley is right though, his career playoff numbers are this: 22.1 PPG, 8.8 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.7 BPG on .436 shooting, those are solid #2 numbers.
So when Houston then threw the combination of Asik and Howard at him and STILL couldn't stop him from scoring 40+ points in back-to-back games, that wasn't real NBA post defense? Surely you jest.
