    By the way, for any taker, a "quality start" is generally regarded by "the baseball world" as a SP going 6 IP and allowing 3 runs.

    This requires using the bullpen to get 9 outs without allowing another run.....
    ......otherwise you would be better served if your SP went 7 IP and allowed 4 runs and needed just SIX outs from your bullpen instead of NINE.


    I know this could be a bit too deep for some "fans" who don't grasp the concept of thinking like a MGR considering the long haul of a full season.

    Holy elephant balls you just can't let this point go can you. If its not one thing its another. Now you've HIJACKED at least 1/2 dozen threads trying to sell this VERY stupid point to anyone that will listen which btw: is nobody. What part of 4 runs in 7 innings = an ERA over 5 don't you understand. Its not fucking acceptable. Let it go. Or are trying to have everyone on this board put you on ignore? Holy shit!

    In all my dozen plus years on these forums I've never seen a poster more determined to constantly embarrass themselves like blg. Nor tried so hard to be redundant and annoying as he is. Well there was BSS. Hey, you don't think that he & blg can be????????NAH! can't be.
