We know he can't make as much money there, someone explain to me realistically how Dallas is a better chance to win than Portland. Keep in mind Parsons might be getting micro-fracture and we know timetables on recovery from those.

According to google maps, the drive from LA to Dallas is 20.5 hours and it's 1436 miles.

Conversely, the flight from LA to Dallas is only 3 hours and 15 minutes.

I dont think LA to Dallas is realistic. LA to SA or Houston is much more in play.

If he goes to Houston, I'm burning my #12 jersey. Same for LAC or LAL, and Dallas. If he goes to SA, I grudgingly respect him and laugh as Durant gets cockblocked for the rest of his career.

How can he get to HOU without a trade? And what would they give up that we would accept?

I'd take Harden for him... and then bench his ass.

Why? Durant will be on another team soon.

It would most likely have to be a 3 team trade. It is possible though and Houston does have a 23 year old Portland boy we might hold some interest in.

L'il bit! I'm actually pretty happy! Though Harden could do with a trip to Baltimore to get some perspective on his little games of I've Been Shot he plays on the court.

If that team is one of 13 others in the West, he'll still get cockblocked... if it's one of 14 teams in the East, he'll have a better chance of making the Finals, but you still have to beat Pop once you get there.

If he goes to Cleveland in a S&T for Kevin Love, I'm quitting the NBA.

Maybe if that POR boy was even close to the level of our star. Heck not even that but maybe if he showed much progress. He tops out much below LMA from what I see with my eyes.

It doesn't matter what we think. All that matters is what LA and his agent think.

Dallas is unlikely as to clear enough cap they'd have to let Tyson go and why would LMA then go there to lose? they gave up a lot to get Rondo and that backfired.

If he walks IMO it's either SA which depending on how much salary a few guys are willing to sacrifice might not be such a great team.

A sign n trade with HOU might be the best bet "if" he decides to leave. I am assuming he wants a real chance at winning and perhaps playing in Texas, if not then other teams like NY and LA come into play

So far as I can tell he's the premier FA this summer, yes? I think LaMarcus will do the rounds, get wined and dined and whatever, but in the end, it comes down to team's winning prospects and/or money. Portland can offer most money and has good winning prospects.

For those who say get rid of him, who on the Blazers roster would take his place? Who is reasonably available through trade or free agency who would take his place (by reasonable I mean the Blazers won't get LeBron James for Affalo).

LMA would be nice in Houston...but Durant may beat him there! Hey Blazers fans should be happy if LMA does end up in Houston. The last Blazer Great to get traded to Houston finally got his ring with us.

No need to burn the # 12 jerseys...Howard already has that locked up! But he could rock #23 like he did with the Longhorns.

If he goes to HOU and tells them he wants to go there and LMA goes to Olshey and says he is going to HOU then they will find a way to make it happen.
