Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) announced on Wednesday that he'll run for president of the United States in 2016.

"I am running for president," Sanders told The Associated Press. "People should not underestimate me... I've run outside of the two-party system, defeating Democrats and Republicans, taking on big-money candidates and, you know, I think the message that has resonated in Vermont is a message that can resonate all over this country."

I don't agree with some of his views but he's an interesting and welcome addition to the presidential race.

He will make her stay on the issues that she is running on and in the end would make it difficult for her to backtrack if in fact she does win the nomination and end up in the white house.

At least he's somewhat ethical and sticks to his godawful principles.

Maybe this might make some sense. I happen to think this is a lot of the problem. I also wonder if any of the people who complain or say nasty things about politicians could possibly stand up to the very same levels of scrutiny that they them selves seem to so easily expect from elected servants. I certainly know for a fact they would have a field day with my past.

Oh boy, that's going to be fun. He is really smart on his feet and full of probative zingers that will make great sound bites. I don't think he has any chance of winning, but he could derail Clinton.

^^And he'll get 2% of the vote b/c he won't have the cash to buy commercial time on the Kardashians or American Idol.

The real problem is the more qualified someone is to run the country the less likely they are to want the job.

He should accept money from billionaires, but run against billionaires in his speeches. Just like I treat Denny on his own board.

If Bernie wants pointers on how to treat rich guys while using their resources, he should read my posts.
