The whole brawl was ridiculous. From everything discussed so far, I think the blame can be put solely on Isiah Thomas. Anthony has said that Thomas told him not to go into the paint (before the brawl), and both Thomas and Nate Robinson were saying the Nuggets were rubbing things in their face and they basically deserved to be fouled hard (Thomas reportedly told his players to foul fard).The hard foul obviously started the whole thing, but Nate Robinson, who wasn't even in the play, instigated more by getting in JR Smith's face.Here's my predicitions...Isiah Thomas - 15-20 game suspensionCarmello Anthony - 15-25 game suspensionNate Robinson - 15-25 game suspension5-6 other players - 10 gamesThe only thing saving these guys from a season-long suspension is the fact that they weren't fighting with the fans (ie: Pistons/Pacers brawl).The league should make an example out of Isiah Thomas for his coaching and directing the players to start the whole thing.Just my opinion.

Wow, reading some of your replies just made my day, especially that picture of Nate and Melo haha. But anyways I don't see this as such a big deal, the only really thing that bothers me is it went into the first row a little bit other then that it's just a fight. Everyone gets into fights sometime in their life especially if you're out there playing such an emotional game like basketball. We even get into it a couple times in PE when playing basketball, it's just a competitive game. I don't think this is such a hit to the league as most may think, it's just one simple fight. I think the knicks were the ones to start the whole thing and saying they were trying to embarrass you by leaving their starters in isn't a good excuse IMO. How about going out there and having some type of pride playing defense and taking care of the ball if you're so embarrassed. JR and Mardy had a few words but JR would of cooled down if Nate wouldn't have through that punch at him and thats when JR went after Nate. Since Nate coming into the league he has been involved in every single Knicks incident it seems like, even with his own teammates. About time someone actually shut him up. The Melo punch was not as bad as most of you thought, him and Mardy was face to face before that and Mardy was looking right at him, it's not like Melo just came out of nowhere, he just simply went around the Knick's assistant and knocked him out. He backed up because he had 3 guys coming after him and I would of done the same thing too, especially since Camby was there trying to hold him back which just got in Melo's way to defend himself. Nate went chasing after Melo but then turn around like a little punk, if you're going to charge after someone like you're going to do something don't punk out once you do get up there and then try to talk trash once you're behind a assistant. I also gained a little respect for the Knick's bigs, Jeffries tried his hardest to protect his guard and Jerome James tried to get off the bench and go after Melo also once he punched Collins. You don't see that much anymore in this weak NBA. Anyways I think suspension will go somewhere like this Nene and James 1 game each for coming off the bench, Jeffries 1 or 2 games for charging after Melo, Mardy Collins between 3-5 games for the flagrant foul, JR Smith 5 games for going after Robinson, and Melo and Robinson both between 7-10 games. I really just can't see anyone getting more then 10 games here at the most.
