Yep. Still amazing to me that the Rams drafted Lawrence Phillips like #7 overall (when they had Jerome Bettis). If Clark stays clean, it will all go away. But if he has any issues, you know that the GM will get fried for this pick. Kind of silly to take the risk unless they feel really good about Clark as a person.
Yeah, it's not like the 49ers ever had any questionable players... You know guys like Aldon Smith, Ray MacDonald or Bruce Miller. Thank God they're such an all class organization that they'd steer clear of such characters!
Well, nobody can argue that. Lord knows the 9ers have had their share of problems with Aldon and Ray (so glad Ray is gone). But I think it just adds to the "Classless" label that already attaches itself to the Seahawks. At least with the 9ers, they come out and say "yep, our guys are fuck ups, and we don't condone their behavior." But with the Seahawks, it's "WHOO, GO HAWKS WIN WIN WIN!" That's gonna bite them in the ass sooner or later.
Like it or not, its different to know of a player beating a woman's face, and then draft them. Those guys were clean when they came aboard the 49ers afaik.
If he gets in trouble again, they better cut all ties. I hope he as a person grows from it but I won't hold my breath.
Aldon should have just gotten a prescription for guns, then he could have snorted some guns at halftime.
Same here with Aldon. I'm sick of his shit. I promise you: one more fuck up from him and he's gone. Let Lynch take the load; he's a beast.
When I hear of the parties with the shooting and the stabbing I'm like damn, that shit sounds fun! Cracks me up that teams have to monitor that shit lol.
Looks like fun? lol, tried it once when I was 21. Believe me: when you stand before a judge who holds the power to throw your ass in prison for a long time, you clean your act up real quick. Mine was a mistake. Aldon's looks like a character flaw. But I'll say this: from what I'm hearing, it sounds like he's sticking to his sobriety, and he's sold his "Problem House" in the Bay and moved somewhere else. I'm guessing it's an attempt to start over. I like it.
Fun like a roller coaster, kinda dangerous and exhilarating, giving me a giant boner, and making me vomit.
