AV will stick with the same plan. In his mind, why change when you get a plenty of chances but cant finish.
It's tough watching this, AV has made absolutely no adjustment at all. Thats a massive failure on his part, the only people to show up are Brassard and Lundy its incredible this team is lost without Zuccurello but they are, totally baffled at scoring and the lines and chemistry seem completely off. Well maybe they get it turned around, but i just dont see them getting a serious rally going to win this series. Rick Nash for Joe Pavelski and Stepan for a winger that can drive the net.
I mentioned the Zucc thing, and then I thought deeper and said they weren't scoring against the Pens either, and that was with Zucc. So yeah I'm sure Zucc is missed, but we didn't score against the Pens either with him. I don't get AV in this series. His obsession with keeping MSL on that 1st line is comical now. We aren't scoring, okay I will move Miller down, a big body who has skill, and move Moore up. I will also leave useless MSL on the 1st line and 1st PP unit. I truly don't get what AV is thinking this series.
I don't understand what you people think changing the lines it going to do. They get glorious chances and don't finish. Is that going to change because a guy is playing on another line? Is Kreider not going to pass off a 3 on 1 into no mans land if he's playing somewhere else? Nash's bullshit is because of who's playing with him?
I dont want to complain about the refs but that non call against boyle at the end of game 1 is one of the biggest reasons why this series is 3:1 and the rangers inability to finish.
Well, look at it like this Mess. We KNOW these lines aren't scoring at all. Maybe changing lines doesn't give us a boost to actually put pucks in the net, but what is the other choice? We stay EXACTLY as is and continue to not score anyway? What would the harm be to actually try something different? We'll score negative goals...LOL.
Yeah, it was the refs fault Boyle fell down and the whole team stopped playing on a play that was at best a coin flip penalty. Damn you refs...LOL.

It is not just zucc scoring. He has a tremendous chemistry with Brass, Nash. Plus you are relying on MSL who is shot.
