For those of you that maybe didn't get a chance to see it, Gerald Green's windmill from last night got #4 on SportsCenter and NBA TV's Top 10 Plays of the Day. he stole the ball and took it the whole way and came up with the slammer! His head was level with the rim, as usual. He's an absolute freak.

I put this up on YouTube. I had it go regular pace with the NBA TV guy talking, then no sound for the slow-mo.

NICE. But don't they teach you in 6th grade to not dribble while watching the floor?

yeah, he always seems to do that on fastbreaks haha. He's a decent ballhandler otherwise, but he always seems to look down when he's by himself.

Actually, he was moreso measuring and angling his jump while maintaning his speed than looking at the ball while running. A lot of players do that. Ricky Davis does it a lot when he's ready to take off, and he's not a bad ballhandler.

That was a great dunk, he makes it look so easy. If only he could shoot as well as he dunks...

??? Gerald has a very good jump shot, bro. I don't know why you said that. He has 3-point range and he has shot a very high percentage, he is a silky smooth mid-range shot (especially off the dribble), and he is a solid spot-up shooter. He is a pretty good shooter.

From what I've seen he's awful, I guess I haven't been watching the games when he's shooting well. He was terrible the other night, jacking up 3s and didn't hit any of them.

You don't watch all the games then... at all lol. Gerald is a good shooter, and as a matter of fact, he was leading the league in 3 point percentage a mere week and a half ago. He is shooting 48% from the field, which is very good, 47% from three (18-38 too, so it's not like he doesn't take them), and 75% from the line. He has always been a good shooter, and that is the thing that got him so much hype... not just his dunking ability and vertical leap, but his actual offensive skill and smooth shooting touch.

I honestly can't beleive you didn't think Gerald Green was a good shooter. I know this is just one game, but he shot 7-10 vs. Memphis 2 weeks ago and score 16 points in the 4th quarter (not garbage time either, it was a 1 point loss, and Doc actually even called the last play for him to attempt the game winning shot... yet they messed up the play and got the ball to a differen player). Gerald, ever since his junior year in high school, has had an excellent/smooth shot, and that has always been the thing that has wow'ed the scouts.

And you said "the other night when he was jacking up 3's and didn't hit them"... they were wide open three's, he wasn't "jacking" like Antoine Walker lol. And besides, he only took TWO.
