    Simmons NBA articles were part of what I liked best on ESPN plus Grantland never had to by insider.

    Bill Simmons: Former ESPN Commentator to Join HBO With Multiplatform Deal. Under the contract, which begins in October, Simmons will host a talkshow and make video podcasts. HBO will be Simmons' exclusive TV home, the network announced Wednesday.

    His podcasts were hilarious.

    Definitely missed over at Grantland. I hope they make his content available for those of us without HBO subscriptions, but I don't see it happening.

    Oh come on... he writes and talks from the fan's perspective. And his book of basketball clearly shows his depth of knowledge in the game. I think he's refreshing in comparison to all the other blowhards at ESPN
