    I'm not sure you understand what domestic violence is, if you honestly can't see the difference between someone running up to someone, and then being thrown down on the ground, vs someone running up to someone and them not getting caught.

    How would it be different? The result would be the same. The woman would be on the ground in pain. So if he had simply pretended he was going to catch her (which has been done in many movies) and let her fall, that would have been okay?

    No it's not. It looks like a fan-made video. Horrible production quality. I just don't think it's worth all the commotion.

    I don't think you understand what intent is. In Nate's example the guy intends for her to be hurt either way.
