Mick, I was not a Rivers supporter, so I hope you don't take this as bias. You have been starting a lot of threads basically throwing it in peoples faces that they were wrong. You are a much better poster than that, and I hope you return to how you used to post

Well, to be fair, he's had Adam Morrison crammed down his throat for six years. So I'm not surprised that he wants to get a little gloating in after talking about Lillard and Leonard so long ago.

Where did #6 come from? No one said choose him at 6. The discussion was always at 11. There is a big fucking difference.

I think it's pretty obvious I was talking about this year.

I was on the Rivers bandwagon (at 11, not 6), and kind of still am, specifically because of his mentality. Every great team needs at least one player who truly believes he's capable of scoring every time down the floor. Much like people say with "court vision", I think that kind of mentality is innate, not taught.

I think the question as to whether his skill set can catch up to his confidence is still unanswered, and I will not be surprised at all if he's Eric-Gordon good by the end of next year.

Yeah that's what the general consensus was last summer. The #6 debate was Lillard and Drummond.

I was actually wanting him at #11 as well.

Rivers currently has better shooting percentages than Beal

Not that I care because neither have ever really impressed me

Rivers does have that Russell Westbrook quickness to him, though

Rivers has a very quick first step, makes him seem almost like broy at times with the sneakyness of it. He isnt as athletic as roy was though.

He was available for basically nothing a few months ago but looks a heck of a lot better now.

What, did he have a good game without the usual spaz attack?

REPOST: That was LITERALLY the FIRST time Austin Rivers has had good game in the NBA. He is still garbage overall. This guy has never broke 11 on his PER in the NBA. (NBA average player is 15)

He is still only 22 and if he took the Dame route would still be a senior in college waiting to get drafted.

Some people look at young players and can see what they could be, while others can only see what the box score reads. (or what their PER is) Not wise when so many players are drafted before they are ready.

    What's Blake's PER? I'd rather have Rivers.
