    One of the several targets for treating hypertension. And also for digestive heart disease. Captopril was the first ace inhibitor developed by BMS. I once had the pleasure with working with that compounds inventor, he was a VP of chemistry at a new start up and was I hired in to consult for his team on leveraging new synthesis technologies.
