Orioles defeat White Sox at Camden Yards with no fans in attendance

    The cheers from the small group of Orioles fans gathered outside the locked gates beyond center field echoed throughout an empty Camden Yards every time the home team scored a run.

    There was no roar of the crowd inside the ballpark on this surreal day.

    In what was believed to be the first major league game played without fans in attendance, Chris Davis hit a three-run homer in a six-run first inning Wednesday and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Chicago White Sox 8-2.

    That game was historic and no one posted....... IMO- The game should have been played elsewhere or the National Guards should have been gievn complimentary tickets and secured the stadium and perimeter. Those gangs that started the mess deserve a season in an Arab prison so they could reflect and see how fortunate they are to be US citizens.
