We were something like 8-1 with Crabbe starting that doesn't mean he's MJ.. And you wanna play 3 SGs and a stretch 4 at SF???

I've watched Monroe quite a bit... He doesn't even try defensively.
Nor does he really show flashes with my eye test that he can make the leap from good, to great offensively.
My biggest problem though is his defense. Literally stands there and watches people score.. He shows no effort.
He clearly as a mindset he is playing basketball to shoot.. Because he plays Efence.
    Monroe would drive me bonkers.

We need an athletic defensive center and more guys that attack the rim. That's basically it

If LA leaves, I'd rather bite the bullet and give the starting job to Meyers Leonard, than spend a lot of money on a guy like Monroe.

People want to get rid of batum, and replace him with aminu? Ohhhhkay.

I know Batum didn't have his best season, but in what world is aminu an upgrade?

Call me crazy but I'd rather keep Nic than trade him for Monroe and have aminu starting..

Although I think Nico will be shopped around I'd hate to lose the opportunity to see him play next season with a contract year incentive. I think he may have a career year going into free agency. He's hard to replace for his speed and skillset. I think the Nico decision is going to be influenced by Lamarcus' demands for upgrades. Not sure if LA is supportive of Nic or close to him. He's a hard guy to read. The guy I really want to keep is DWright. People don't talk much about him but I love his game and the fact that he can play multiple positions. He's an underrated defender and gives length when he plays SF or rebounds when he plays PF. We missed his contributions in the second half of the season.

Yeah Wright is fine as the 11th man but first priority is finding starters and the main bench subs. If we need his cap space we renounce his rights. But if everything plays out to where there's room for him sure bring him back. I view Freeland similarly. He could provide value but we should try to find more impactful veterans or younger players with upside first.

Ugh. Freeland is going to do something nice for another team. Stotts just doesn't play him because he has no offense. It's sad. He could be our Steven Adams.

Freeland graded out as our best defender on the whole team over the course of the season. When he went down we were hurt more than when Rolo went down imo. I absolutely want him back if he wants to come back and the deal works.

With all the injuries we need somebody to be our Patch Adams.
