    Just spitballing here,

In an effort to increase good productivity and activity, I've come up with a simple forum game where we select one poster each month who has done the following:
    • Followed the forum rules and encouraged others to do the same.
    • Has remained active on the forum and posted good content.
    • (Not required, but helpful) Has brought more posters to the forum.
    • Has been noticed as a great contributor to the community.
The monthly winner would have his name in the title of a stickied thread for an entire month. In this thread will be a list of the previous monthly winners. I may try to get a badge system of sorts created that would be added to the poster's profile or signature.

What do you guys think about this?

Well all I can say B is, .............................

I'd like to thank the academy of sport boards everywhere for this wonderful honor. I'd like to thank everyone who made this award possible but I can't since I did this all by myself.

A general suggestion, and I'm too lazy to volunteer…

Loves the old ESPN boards, mainly because of the volume contributing to all kinds of conversations (serious and not). The one thing that had me check in every morning was somebody contributing News and Notes, which was a compilation of links on news pieces regarding the Yanks that had some comments. That usually turned into great baseball conversation.

I also liked the game threads which Rick seems to have jumped on (thanks Rick).

It seems not one poster did not enjoy those "Good Morning Posts" of Giambinos...classic, yet we had plenty of Posters to have 50 peeps show up each morn.......

anyone recall who the Poster Gal in Tampa Bay was..........? She broke the News 1st of Tampa's Earthquake way back a decade ago, a few hundred miles off the western FLA coast, out in the Gulf.

BTW- Oklahoma and even New Mexico at Colorado's southern border had minor 3.2 to 2.8 quakes, both OK towns are within 20 miles of the KS southern Border.....
