Philadelphia is a weird and dangerous place.

Exhibit A: Their Mayor's last name.

I'll bet if some "Gestapo" tactics were applied he'd know. As I recall on passenger trains the conductor is the boss, and should have been aware of the speed and was he even trying to communicate with the engineer. At this point in time I'd almost think that the engineer was trying to replicate by train what that idiot pilot did by air. I don't care if this clown "lawyered up" he is responsible for the safe operation of the train, and its passengers. Hate to see this happen, I've been a railroad buff all my life and hate to see that the US Rail system is not modernized and improved.

Lawyered up and will claim to not remember anything until they can put a story together or all the evidence comes to light.

Another question I might have is how a Lawyer in goon conscience can defend an idiot like that.

I read the article, but did not see the slightest mention of any sobriety testing, but then I'm half blind too.......I read these things via braille on my screen.....!

Wouldn't surprise me either. A local Dr. who's a flippid Wino, hit the ass end of a stalled car in the fast lane of the Freeway here, and was taken to the ER, (killed the driver and his wife, and two kids instantly)........and get this: He walked out of the ER prior to a blood draw for Booze, drugs, et al. And- No one said a damned thing.

10:30 pm, on a Saturday Night; and I really doubt his story: that the other car was stalled, no witnesses either, to bolster or upset his claim.........CHP officers detected his skid marks, stating he was driving approx 120 MPh, in a Tesla Super Car......WTF-go figure, why should anyone receive preferential treatment, or allow Him to walk out un-detected. Hell, if He were anyone else, he would of been hand cuffed to the gurney until a blood draw could be had, and results in hand.......sad...!!!

This case has been in court now for 9 months, and still goes on, stall tactic after another...........that's fkn Lawyers for you.....! (I think I will post 2 jokes on Lawyer's; please feel free to jump in, Rick or anyone else........

I wonder if Teddy Roosevelt, would of handled all this as good now, as 100+ years ago......

It would be interesting, to see how Teddy would of handled this mess, since the War, to the end of, the Century after.....

Take a shot, what do you think He would of done say, in the 60s on, with emphasis on, Illegal Immigrants, I think today He come up with 1 of 2 things:

1- Any Illegal Immigrants, will be shot at the Border, period, end of story....!???
