These records were requested as part of the Cung Le et. al. antitrust/monopsony lawsuit. If successful, Zuffa would not have to release virtually all of their financial information as requested as part of the suit, including all revenues and payroll. If unsuccessful, it's likely their financial records would be made public and would likely cause a shitstorm. Motions to stay are commonplace so this isn't an example of Zuffa being nefarious.
