http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...lker/index.htmlWalker is worth looking for if you can find him. He competes hard and dunks like a young Dominique Wilkins. Every windmill jam he unfurls is a harbinger of a new era in college basketball, when some of the youngest stars in the game will be even younger. I didn't know about these programs where players could come in early, very interesting. I noticed Walker in the stats yesterday and was in shock that he's already playing so I looked into how this is happening and found the article.

Wait, Billy Walker is already playing college ball? I'm confused, last I heard he was a high school senior this year with OJ Mayo. Can you fill me in here?

Huggins is doing wonders for KSU. They got Bill Walker and almost landed OJ Mayo. Plus they have 2 top 150 consents already this year

ALMOST landing OJ Mayo doesn't do anything for your program..If they did land him, that would turn there program around completely. But they didnt..

Almost winning a championship does something for your program...as does almost landing that high a prospect. All of these basketball guys know what the others are doing. The High Schoolers pay just as much attention to recruiting as they do to championships. They know KSU almost got Mayo and they are probably damn impressed by it

I just checked his ESPN Player Card, he he has played 2 games, averaging 13 points and 4.5 boards, shooting 50%. But wow, that's awesome that he is already playing college ball, I'll be following him closely.

Is he going to declare for the draft this year, or is he going to wait another year? If he comes out this year, this draft is loaded with stars (it is without him, but with him it's just that much sweeter).

Walker didnt finish high school early, he was a 5th year senior who was ineligible to play at North College Hill anymore, so rather than sitting around for next years NBA Draft and not playing, he went to K-State I believe. If anyone knows more in-depth, feel free to correct me.

He is already 19 too, so I don't know if he was held back a year or wut.
