<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pacers fan forever @ Dec 18 2006, 09:10 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>And they call me a homey? :no3:</div>Well there is a good chance that the Celtics will beat the Nuggets without Anthony and Smith, and a good chance it won't be a close game. Boston has beat the Nuggets already this year with both Smith and Anthony playing, and was spanking them for most of the game. Without Anthony going off for 42 that game was nowhere near as close. Sure the Nuggets still have some talent on the wings, but their two best scorers are going to be out of the game. Plus the Nuggets will have four games between now and then to try to get used to each other and get some continuity. That is a hard thing to develop in only four games.

If any other person was the commisioner of basketball, they would suspend them as well. He did the right thing here....
Complete and total bullsh**. Nate Robinson went crazy after JR and starting fighting him. JR threw a punch, 'Melo threw one punch. Marty Collins starts it all with a complete and total disrespectful and hard ass foul. 'Melo - one punch - 15 gamesJR - one punch and a tackle - 10 gamesNate - tackle, going after JR and 'Melo, shoving - 10 gamesMarty Collins - flagrant foul that was way over the line - 6 gamesIsiah Thomas - threatening 'Melo not to go down the lane and I think telling Collins to foul anybody hard that does - nothingI don't find this fair. I wish we played the Knicks again so we could win by 50 points and in all of the 4th quarter have 'Melo, JR, Camby in and run it up on their asses. Also, Nuggets are up by 28 against the Wizards right now. 0 - 15 huh? They are dominating!

MIller has 20, Boykins has 10, and all starters except 'Diawara' have at least 8. Team play hurrah!

Crazy stuff. Every year the Nuggets get something screwed up. Usually due to injuries. Let's see if they're a playoff team.
My take:Anthony 15: Way too harsh. Maybe 10ish sounds more appropriate. He did escalate everything after it seemed to be dying down but 15 is overboard. Smith 10: FairNate 10: Should have been higher. Started everything, led it all into the stands. Mardy 6: Harsh for a hard foul. Maybe 2 or 3.Jeffries 4: Fine with me.Isaiah should have been suspended/fined for his actions as well, and I also fully expect Karl to get fined for his comments after the fact as well.
