Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. I find it nearly impossible. So many guys are playing well and you have to decide where you put the scorers in with the 'real PG's. There are 48 minutes in the game, Steve Nash plays 36 minutes of the game, so that leaves only 12 minutes a game that the team has to play without Nash. Add in, that when Nash is out, Banks comes in to run the point alot, so in total Barbosa probably runs the point guard, maybe 7 minutes a game. Most teams won't drop off very far, in only 7 minutes. Those 7 minutes are not going to be a continues 7 minutes either, they are about a minute and half to two minutes each quarter. No one is going to drop off that far.2nd, when Nash is out for long stretchs the offense does struggle to score without him. Last years Clippers series showed that alot, when he was not in the game, that offense didn't play half as well.

Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. To hard! top 3 I think are Kidd, Nash , PaulI wont go further as there are alot of ones that are close and virtually impossible to rank.
Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. Bibby is get overrated as normal. He isn't that good. Especially on defense. My list goes as follows.Chris PaulSteve NashTony Parker Chauncey BillupsAllen IversonJason KiddDeron WilliamsJason TerryArenasBaron Davis

Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. NashKiddIversonPaul BillupsArenasWilliamsParkerDavisMillerI just can't put Nash at #2 anymore. He is past that with his now average D and even better numbers.
Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. Wow Billups is getting pushed down to five, and even seven in Dogma's. That's hurts.1. Allen Iverson2. Steve Nash3. Jason Kidd4. Chauncey Billups5. Chris Paul6. Gilbert Arenas7. Baron Davis8. Deron Williams9. Tony Parker10. Mike Bibby
Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. I would have to go with this:1. Steve Nash2. Allen Iverson3. jason kidd4. Chauncey Billups5. Gilbert Arenas6. Chris Paul7. Baron Davis8. Tony Parker9. Mike Bibby10. Deron WilliamsSomething along those lines

So I viewd him as a shooting guard, and left him off this list.
Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. 1-tie) Nash and Kidd are pretty much tied to me3) Chris Paul4) Chauncy Billups5) Andre Miller6) Devon Williams7) TJ Ford8) Gilbert Arenas9) Tony Parker10) Baron DavisBaron would have been higher if it wasn't for the fact the past few years he's hardly been a good impact on his squad. This year I'm holding my breath.Allen Iverson's overrated as a point guard. He may be a gifted scorer, but I think he gets too much credit. Poor shooting percentages and high turnover numbers make his impact suspect.

He is a talented young point guard, but I don't think he is above any of the three of them.
Re: Ranking the NBA's top 10 PG's. Wow, Some of these lists are horrible. Jason Terry and TJ Ford over Gilbert Arenas? Allen Iverson is getting snubbed also. How do you go against a guy averaging 31 and 7? Please explain to me why he isn't number 1 or 2 on your list.1. Steve Nash2. Allen Iverson3. Jason Kidd4. Gilbert Arenas5. Chris Paul6. Chauncey Billups7. Tony Parker 8. Baron Davis9. Mike Bibby10. Deron Williams
