Blake does so much more than Aldridge its not even close. Blake competes hard every second he's on the floor, shoots the ball from midrange, post up game, and can create shots for teammates. I don't see how anyone could argue that wouldn't be a good trade.........for us. No brainier in my opinion but no way LA trades Blake (untouchable)
If they lose this series, I could see them trading him. They need to do something. That team has been severely under performing considering their overall talent level. They have a deep bench, they have still arguably the best point guard in the game, and they have Doc Rivers. If they don't get to the conference finals this year, that will be a huge disappointment.
that's the one reason I want Hou to win the series. They will be forced to make a move to contend now which would be Aldridge. I read somewhere that Blake G and Chris P are redundant because CP3 negates Blake's ball handing and passing ability While Aldridge and CP3 would be highly compatible. I'd love to see Blake in a blazer uni. Don't see it happening though.
The point about Paul and Blake being redundant makes a lot of sense. Something is wrong with that team. Paul was much better on the Hornets when he had David West, who is much more similar to an Aldridge than Blake Griffin. Either way, the Clips should be much better than they are.
Starting to see why there might be some credibility to this rumor. What's wrong with the Clipps? Don't they want to win??
Tale of two different teams from both clubs. But I thought Doc's teams was more disciplined and tougher than this. Still think that comes through and they win this game in the end.
The Clippers = a lot of talent pieces that don't fit well together. They're kind of the opposite of the Blazers.
This may have been discussed before, but Michael Thompson a few weeks ago was trying to sell fans that it made sense for both teams to make a Durant (last year of contract) for Griffin (From OKC) trade It makes sense to me.
Who other than Cp3 , Blake, and Jordan are talented? I see a lot of role players, but basically 3 starters.
He puts up 16/3/2 on really good shooting. His D isn't great but he is a top 5 shooter imo. He's not far off from Wes.
Yeah I guess if they had a better SF he would be fine as a starter. But he was a 6th man for much of his career and I think he is better suited for that role.
CP3 is most likely a HOFer. Griffin is a perennial All-Star. Rivers hasn't done anything since Garnett, Pierce, and Allen aged and left Boston.
