Well go on over to a Clipper thread right about now and you will hear quite a few people talking about trading for Durant.

I think the number is closer to $130 mil but yes. It would be more money. The question was "isn't $109 million enough".

Most every scenario that people are talking about have him in a sign and trade so he gets his money. So not really...;.

Not really? Aldridge is a free agent. Thus hearing about different places he can realistically go if he chooses. Blake is not a free agent. It's pretty simple.

It's rumored players like LA could make like 30m per season next year if they do a one year deal this summer. So, probably 150-160 total.

It's okay, sly is old. He only has so much time left before he has to step down due to the gout.

I don't like this deal. I saw a real lack of hustle out of Griffin today when it was needed most. Makes me start to ponder what is in the ticker and if there might be more to this rumor than just a rumor and something the Clipps might want. Say what you want about LA, overall he's a better basketball player than Blake Griffin. IMO.

But Blake isn't a FA. Even if he wanted to go, he has a contract with the Clipps.

Allow LA to make the decision to walk before persecuting him

    BTW. Love your passion

I think he would be nuts to take a one year deal. Lock it up now while you have the chance. If not here, else where.

I don't think anyone here is wanting LA to dip, it's just offseason all scenario talk. However, y'all are crazy to think BG wouldn't be the best possible trade piece to come back if we traded LA.

There are just no guarantees in the West. So much depends on luck with injuries, matchups, and momentum. Kinda shows us that we shouldn't fret too much about a first round exit.

I'd take BG for LA in a heartbeat. Aldridge is a better post scorer (and he's admittedly moving away from that as he ages), but Griffin is far superior at everything else. Do it, Doc. You know you want to shake that up.

I think I'm rooting for Houston in this series. They've been fun to watch.
