That's what I've said several times here. Tampa is a solid team that has now beaten the Rangers pretty easily in five out of six games this season. They had better come with a much better effort in Tampa or this can turn into a short series the other way.

We agree... Have to get back to Ranger hockey, play 5 on 5 and get the puck deep make their talented players play defense, out work them.. No more dumb penalties. No 4 on 3...

If Tampa gives the effort like they did in game 1 it will be a short series also

Exactly, no excuse for all the high sticks and stuff like Kreider did was just completely stupid.

How much can Duguay and Valiquette analyze this shitshow. They sucked and they lost. They've been losing game 2's since 94 when they are up in the series. Burn the tape and move on.

I said it back in the pens series.. You can't bitch about stick fouls... Just dumb plays.. Ck has done this too many times.. Scores a goal then brings the team down with a dumb penalty

With how they responded in this one and now that they're heading home the onus is on the Rangers. Tampa is the best home team in hockey this season. It's not going to be easy.

That's what keeps him from taking that jump to star. That and the fact that during the season he seems to take stretches of game off.

True, but as we know that's not an easy place to play. Rangers need to good start in game three to keep the crowd quiet.

It is funny that this has turned into CK bashing. He is one of the reasons why they are here in first place.

I wouldn't say bashing.. He plays on the edge and it is something we need, but he needs to know when to do it and when not to

Nobody is bashing him. Just stating facts. That was an idiotic roughing penalty he took.

At some point, someone needs to step up in the locker room and say, "enough with the bullshit talking about what we need to do. Just go out there and fucking do it already!!!"

The bottom line is that we can talk and over analyze until the cows come home. They simply need to come out with a much better effort in game three. I know it has become almost funny how they play after winning game 1 of series but there's no excuse for the level of play tonight.

I think the tone for this evening was set early by the inept play of St. Louis. Instead of scoring on a glorious chance he shots wide and then falls down on a 5 on 3 leading to a short handed goal.

Exactly. Wait the Rangers didn't show up in game 2 after winning game 1 at home...WOW what a surprise.

I was there, and they played about 5 good minutes all game. The rest was flat and lazy.

MSL is terrible. As soon as TB scored on a 2 on 0 break on a Rangers 5 on 3 you knew what kind of game it would be. MSL had his finger prints all over that one.

I figured 1-1. I figured 7 games. I would guess home 2-2...and we go from there. Tossup series. But I will say this, we are not winning this series 2-1 every game. We must score 3 goals a game to win this series. So Nash, who is now almost invisible on O, needs to get his sh*t together.

Guys...some advice, don't over analyze this game. Rangers were awful. Bolts showed up in a huge way in a big game for them. We played 5 good minutes of hockey. We need to play MUCH better in game 3 to have a shot. I would expect we do it and whether it is game 3 or game 4 we should come home 2-2.

Only comment I will add is what I just said, we need to score in this series. We aren't beating that team 2-1 four times.

Nash and MSL have 2 goals combined in whole playoffs! How they got this far is a miracle.
