Consider these two things: 1) Not a SINGLE one of you can prove the Yanks would be "better" if they kept Greene, Prado and Phelps. 2) The Yanks ARE currently in first place. I have to admit, kinda anxious to see how the bobblehead crew handles this. Isn't discussion and the exchange of thoughts and ideas a wonderful thing?
It's hard to argue we wouldnt be better with Prado's bat at 2B removing either Didi or Drew's bat from the lineup. Eovaldi is a league average pitcher, same as Greene. The moves may pan out down the road as Eovaldi & Gregorius are in their mid-20s, but short-term Prado was a very useful piece and would have extended the lineup. There is no way of saying anything for sure, but it looks like for 2015 the moves were a downgrade. In regards to proving things, I can't prove we'd be better if we traded Carlos Beltran for Bryce Harper, but I'd gladly put the hypothesis to trial.
Just as you can't prove they wouldn't be. but it doesn't take a genius to know that we would be better off with Prado at 2nd base instead of Drew.
OK, no one can prove ANYTHING other than how someone has done on the current team considering the circumstances that did exist... being theoretical can't be proven ever... evolution is a theory... assumed to be fact by many, but it is just a theory... global warming is a theory... Not as widely considered to be fact as is evolution, but still... A theory hasn't been proven and something like this CAN'T be proven in any way...
See the first post of the thread. And try and figure out the here and now.....and quit the Houdini act. I know it's kinda hard to bobblehead in the opposite direction...... I sympathize with ya.
WTF are you talking about? Read the 1st post. Figure out here & now. Something to do with Houdini. Bobblehead. Opposite direction. You're just all over the place. And you wonder why no one understands you. Please stop talking shit.
