The Sharks have reportedly received permission to talk with former Pittsburgh Penguins coach Dan Bylsma for their vacant head coaching job. ESPN’s Craig Custance tweeted Monday that the Sharks can now interview Byslma, who was an assistant coach for Team USA that just won the Bronze Medal at the IIHF World Championships. Even though Bylsma was fired by the Penguins last June, the Sharks needed permission to talk to him because he remains under contract with Pittsburgh.
