Yes! I am very happy he'll be back. He has really impressed me from preseason through the last game he has played in this year. He helps a ton with his size, rebounding, and shot blocking. Also, he has that laser hook shot haha. Welcome back O!
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game you mean we actually might have a real center in uniform?!?!?! WOW
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game He'll be nice to fill in for a few minutes, give the guys some rest. I wish Kandi-man was slang for Perk.
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game well, big al doesn't seem to be doing too bad at the center spot right now, so I dont know how much it will help. I guess depth never hurts....

He'll be more productive than Powe, IMO, because of his size and the intimidation factor due to his size.
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game Let's see how well he does after such a long period of time away.
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game hahah why are people happy to see kandi? he is absolutely terrible. I hated to see him ever take shot at the hoop when he was in minnesota. I thought he would be out of the league by now
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game it's because he wasn't playing half bad before he got injured. He was grabbing rebounds and blocking shots in limited time. We don't need him to score.
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game It's always nice tohave big veteran bodies available.
Re: Kandi-Man might be back for Wednesday's game This is as essential now with Pierce down. A lot of times we overlook Pierce's rebounding skills, we're gonna need are few bigs to pick up the pace...Kandiman better be ready to play some serious minutes.

His minutes won't increase because our SG/SF is out. Gerald Green, Tony Allen, Delonte West - those are the guys who's minutes will increase. Also, he didn't play on Wednesday because he was still in pain when he played. He practiced before and he said it still hurt when he made cuts, played body-on-body defense, jumped, etc. He dressed for the game and he was sitting on the bench, but he didn't play because of that. He will try and give it a go for tomorrow's game vs. Philly.

Two of those guys (TA, DW) are 6 foot 4 and Gerald has yet to show he can rebound well. I'm not saying Kandi-Man is going to be the savior and get 20 boards a game but he should get some minutes so we can have size in the middle. I'm sick of watching guards play around the hoop, true guys like TA, D-West, and Gerald will get more time but I'm sick of seeing small-ball. Small ball for the Celtics=getting owned on the boards.

Gerald isn't terrible either, he gets some. Sure, Pierce's rebounding will most definitely be missed, but what I was saying is that Kandi-Man is not going to get extra minutes because of it. We have no choice but to go small now.
