One thing I would add though is this wasn't a 5-1 us type of game. The 1st I think was close, but little edge them. The 2nd they really controlled despite the score. And the 3rd was kind of nothing once we went up 4-1. So we need to not feel comfortable due to the final score. TB is so darn dangerous and we need to stay on our game 100%. And stop with the dumb penalties. They are due for a PP goal again soon.

They have finally broken a streak of one goal game wins. How about that?

Great stat just there on MSG...78% of the time Nash takes the shot there from the outside. FINALLY he takes it hard to the net and scores his 1st goal to put us up 1-0. That really says it all IMO. Someone should pound that into his head...and his 2nd goal was from right in front as well.

I will take Nash scoring two goals in the same game and run with it...LOL God knows when it is going to happen again.

Comes down to getting pucks deep and making them go the full length of the ice. Neutral zone turnovers are a big no no. They're like buzzards that swoop in, so no leaving roadkill around.

They still gave up a ton if high quality chances. You can't expect Hank to steal 2 more games. The defense has to stop giving up these breakaways and point blank shots. It's absurd.

Thats why they pay Henrik 8.5 million to make those kind of stops. He is one of the best goalies in the world. I expect him to make big time saves.

They don't pay him that so the others can be lazy defensively and look like they're on lsd half the time. But i guess that's why they get rated by some here as a 'top flight' d-corps.lol

And others think they are awful on D, and the individual players aren't good, and then deny they feel that way when called on it...

The defenseman core is one of the best in the sport. However, the team has played very poor a lot in this series when it comes to defenseman.

He missed a ton of chances, or Bishop made some great saves? I know he came in all alone one time in the 3rd and shot top shelf, right side and just missed the net, but other than that I remember Bishop getting the pad out and making some great saves. I remember Hank making some great saves as well. Goalies do that this time of year. Bishop is 6'8", and has no problem getting his pad out. Instead of trying to stuff the puck in, maybe it's time to start getting the puck up when they are in close, just to be safe.

I think everyone was hoping to finally see a blowout. A little rough on the heart to watch them play in there own end for 10 to 15 minutes, just trying to hang on ... lol

They better, because Tampa is going to step it up for game 5. Defense needs to stop dozing off, allowing somebody in a Tampa jersey to set up shop in front of Hank. They don't have to come out pounding Tampa (although that would be nice), but they do need to establish a tight checking game and not give Tampa room to skate.

Not sure that is much of a question jam. Goalies are paid to make saves. ALL players trying to score have to try and beat a goalie looking to make saves. If a player gets a ton of chances and doesn't finish that isn't good. I am not even talking about MSL, just in general.

To me I want to see MSL in game 5 before I think he has his game back and is ready to go. One goal into an empty net off a great feed by Brass doesn't make me say MSL is back baby. I want to see how he plays in game 5.

We saw last night how things go when Nash and MSL get their games going, so we can use MSL for sure. I think we need Nash if we want to win a cup. I don't think we NEED MSL, but it can certainly help make things better for us. So I want MSL to be starting a streak here, I am just not ready to say okay all is good now because of one goal off a great feed.

As for making a prediction, with all due respect I am not going to say great call Al when all he does is pick the Rangers to win every game. Looks good in game 1. Looks bad in games 2 and 3. And looks good in game 4. Al and mel and jam don't make predictions, they just pick the Rangers to win every game, and that is awesome and why I love those guys as fans so much, they are blind homers.

I try and give my honest thought on predictions, and sometimes that means I think the Rangers will lose games. People can get on me, but the Rangers have played 6 series into the TB series since the start of last seasons playoffs, and I nailed 4 series 100% correct and the 5th series I said 6 games and it took 7 games. I didn't predict the SCF because I really didn't have a great feel on that one. I said Rangers in 7 over TB in this series, and feel like that can happen still.

I have also been wrong on individual games within a series for sure, so this is no exact science. I did feel 1-1 and 2-2 this series, and that is where we sit. I also thought we'd come home 2-2 against the Caps and was wrong there. Is what it is. I have done well in these playoffs with trying to honestly predict what I think will happen.

Picking the Rangers to win every game isn't a prediction, it is being a fan and always thinking the Rangers will win. Nothing wrong with that at all, but don't confuse that with a prediction.

I wish I could be as positive and uplifting as Al and mel and jam are as fans...I am jealous...good for them for sure.
