Austin Dillon dominated the Hisense 300 XFINITY Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but he had to bounce back from a poor restart with 35 laps to go to pull out the victory. It was Dillon's fourth career victory in the series. He has seven top-five finishes in nine XFINITY starts this season. But despite starting from the pole and clearly having the fastest car all day, Dillon had to pass Denny Hamlin with 15 laps to go after Hamlin, Kasey Kahne and Regan Smith had all powered past Dillon, then the leader, on the restart 20 laps earlier.
