They need to give Mitchell a crack in one of these spots. I dont think we can count on Tanaka AND Nova. We should be able to get production from 1 of the 2 once they return. They likely will need to hit the trade market for 1 more rotation guy. Someone like Aaron Harang although Phillies GM is almost impossible to deal with. The starting rotation is just total and utter shit and if it's not going to improve nothing else really matters. Pineda needs to turn it around without ending up on the DL. The guy is a tease and it's time he prove himself a frontline ML starter both in terms of consistency & durability. Overall we are in very good shape sitting a 1/2 game out and Tanaka/Nova on the come. Refsnyder should be here soon as well.

He could certainly prove us wrong and I hope he does but with Tanaka I think we're just delaying the inevitable. I would agree on Nova as well because there's no way you can predict what he's going to be able to give the Yankees once he returns.

I don't know blue, that home run yesterday is just more reason for Girardi to say that he's hitting the ball well of late. Personally I'd like to see both Refsnyder & Judge get called up. For now I'm hoping that these last few days that Beltran's been laid up doesn't have him revert back to his shitting hitting before this recent hot streak.
