kobe was on salibury and rosenblum this morning. interesting interview. he said a lot of people dont know this but when he was a free agent he met w/ the bulls org and jerry. he and his family looked at houses around chi cause he thought he was going to be a bull. he was that close.he said in the end it didnt work out though. wonder what happened? he said he love the city of chicago. he gave praise to gordon and hinrich as well. he said gordon can cause problems for a lot of teams and you always have to watch out for him. when asked if he could assemble a team, who would be the top picks. he said himself, wade, lebron a coin flip between kirk and chris paul. and tim duncan or yao. he said he likes kirk a lot. he like his style of play. they replayed the kobe interview on espn radio 1000.
Yeah, he said this on the Best Damn Sports Show over the summer. His top two teams behind the Lakers were the Bulls and the Clippers. I am glad that he made the right choice.

We already were talking about a sign-and-trade," said Bryant. "I liked the Bulls' direction." Bulls sources confirm Bryant's agent did ask the Bulls if they would agree to a sign-and-trade deal, and Bryant sent word he would approach the Lakers to make the deal or threaten to leave for nothing. A few days later Shaquille O'Neal requested a trade and Bryant eventually re-signed with the Lakers.well he didnt come cause of shaq.. damit if shaq would of stood a laker we could of had kobe..
