Re: Celtics' only ESPN game cancelled This Friday (12/22/06), we were supposed to be the first ESPN game vs. Philly. Well, due to all this Iverson crap, and the fact that both teams blow, they replaced our game with the Rockets/Spurs game. So, the ONE time we actually get on ESPN this year, they replace the game. :ranting: Kinda funny though.

Re: Celtics' only ESPN game cancelled I like hearing the espn analyst talk about us, it provides actually insight on our players not the same biased BS that tommy pushes on us. He convinces so many c's fans that we have the best talent ever when in reality we arent that good. My friend the other day was trying to argue that scal was a better than average player.................yeah..........
Re: Celtics' only ESPN game cancelled Yeah, it does suck that we don't get national exposure here. But I believe later on in the year, we have a game on ABC against the Bulls. I'm not sure when though, but I do remember seeing that. Also, I love Mike & Tommy, but whenever we have a game on national TV (rare), I watch that broadcast instead. First of all, they have a better camera angle, and second of all, I like to see what other announcers think of our team and our young players. Some of them have an idea of what they are talking about, but some have no clue. I like to listen to their opinions as opposed to Tommy every night thinking 7 of our players are going to be All-Stars next year.

Re: Celtics' only ESPN game cancelled I think it would have been funny to listen to other people talk about the C's besides Mike and Tommy. I honestly think that none of them would know what they would be talking about. That is just a guess though....Maybe if the celtics can win alot of games this year, they will get a couple TNT or ESPN games next year. Who knows....
