This isn't that big of a deal, just a place he likes. But I needed to post it considering there hasn't been a post in the Magic forum since Thursday.

I don't know what exactly they would give up, but Maggette would fit nicely in Orlando. They need that athleticism, strength, and scoring on the perimeter. But do you guys have any ideas of what exactly they would give up for Maggette?

I actually don't think the Magic need another slasher type scorer on the team, that is what we have to many of on our team, and why teams keep on going to zone against us and packing it into the paint. They don't respect the Magic's outside shooting at all. We need shooters, so I hope we don't really give up anyone to get Maggette.

I think Corey Maggette would be good long term because of Grant Hill's health and age. He'd be an excellent replacement.

Corey Maggette started his career here in Orlando. In fact, I still have his rookie card. While I do believe Maggette would be a good fit, I don't want him to return because of what it would take to go out and get him. Right now, our guard rotation is very, very full. The problem is, while we have an influx of guards, most of them are very small. Jameer Nelson, Carlos Arroyo, Keyon Dooling, Keith Bogans, Travis Diener and JJ Redick make up our 1 and 2 guards, but all more resemble 1's(in terms of height.) Maggette presents a tall 2/3 combo who could be a great addition to our roster. The problem is that right now, the Magic's success is based on depth. Aside from Dwight, we really don't have any superstar calibur players. The reason we were able to begin the season so well was because of the stellar play of our bench. To get Maggette, we would probably have to put together a package deal, and thereby spoiling the depth of our reserves.I would love to have Corey, but only if the price was not too high. Considering that there was recently talk of him being traded for Ron Artest, that is most likely not the case. The biggest thing that I do NOT want to do as a Magic fan is give up either Keyon Dooling - in my opinion, a sure 6th man of the year candidate and the guy who consistently provides a giant spark off the bench - or Trevor Ariza - a man who I believe can become a superstar if he can learn to hit his jumper night in and night out, and the Magic should build around with Dwight. Keyon is extremely valuable to us. I believe that in terms of talent, RIGHT now, not potential, Dwight is obviously our best player, Grant Hill our second, and Keyon Dooling our third. Trevor Ariza is second only to Dwight in potential. This guy is an incredible athlete who can jump out of the gym and is EXTREMELY quick for a man of his size. He plays fantastic defense, as him and Keyon are usually responsible for guarding the marquee players like LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Once Ariza can start knocking down the J, which he is showing major improvement in, there will be nothing he can't do.So, if we could get away with getting Maggette without giving up those 2, and obviously not trading a Dwight or Jameer. The only thing I can imagine that would be in the realm of possibility would be packaging Hedo Turkoglu with Keith Bogans and maybe a 2nd round draft pick for Maggette. I would like that, but doubt that the Clips would go for it.
