Plus do you mind giving any reasons why Melo and AI cant work together well so I can prove them all wrong?

Also neither play defense well. Those players you mentioned I would hardly call a low post player and I guess JR Smith is your only consistent 3 point threat. Teams will still crowd the paint.

Watch out for that team in 4 years they have some sick potential while AI(the other one) will blossom into a premier player.

Melo will want to get a lot of touches but I am sure he would rather win. But he feels he can take over the game when he has the basketball. I am standing to what I think and say this will not work. I hope I am wrong tho, because I want to see A.I get a ring bad. But 75 points? I don't think so. Count all the shots A.I throws up and count all the shots Melo throws up and now JR Smith wants some touches. This might be a problem, lets hope not tho.

Think of all the possibilities, melo has a fast developing outside game, AI is the best slasher in the game, and is a terrific mid range player add that in with JR who can always nail the jumper from deep or make a game changing momentum shifting dunk. I think AI will still avg 28-30 Melo around 25 and JR around 12. Your looking at one of the leagues newly formed potent offenses. Not to mention you have 2 terrific dirty work players in nene and reggie evans along with a top 5 center in camby when healthy. Just a stacked team for the next few years.

JR Smith is averaging like 17 ppg at age 21....He is a very good talent, and much more valuable than Andre Miller at this point no matter how good a pg Andre is.And yes, I would say 75 points altogether. Melo and Melo gets 31, AI gets 28 or so, and JR gets 16.

The reason his role has remained like that is Philly has still failed to put an already good player around him. All AI cares about is getting that ring now, and I guarantee he will adjust his role to what it needs to be. Plus AI and Melo are very good friends and the chemistyr should be great. Also how is Camby not a low post player? He's averaging 11 rpg and 2.7 bpg. Sure he's not an incredible scorer but the Nuggets don't need him to be. Also yeah maybe JR Smith is their only consistent outside shooter, but they still do have one. Earlier you said they had none.

No way is JR more valuable now, hes the 3rd option and really brings nothing to the table that AI and melo dont.
Okay, Andre Miller is a middle-aged PG that AI automatically replaces, whereas JR is a 21 year old SG averaging 17 ppg, and a huge talent. No question JR is more valuable, and the Nuggets refused to offer him, but gladly put Andre on the table. What does that tell you?

If you think between 3 players you will avg 75 points or more you are seriously mistaken. Melo is still developing as an offensive player.....as wierd as that sounds and AI after a couple weeks will take over as this teams #1 offensive option.........this is all IMO

But Imagine running a lineup of miller ai and melo? so much more balanced and versitile than with JR. That lineup would play the halfcourt set a million times better than the lineup with JR. I just think the team is going to be fighting to find its identity between being a fastbreak team or a slow down team. I dont know but I think miller would make a perfect floor general to manage the ball between the 2 awesome scorers.
If AI isn't scoring than he is just like everyone else. You have to see it more in court positioning and how teams will defend that lineup mentioned above. Right now JR Smith might be the most important player for this.Iverson no longer has the excuse of having crappy players around him except having to share with another ball hog. I will change my mind about him if he is able to make Denver considerably better.

Thats something we can only hope for (unless Denver is facing your team lol). I wish him the best of luck and same with Melo. I still don't see Iverson getting around 30 PPG and Melo 25. Thats pretty hard to do. Getting 30 points per game is hard enough let alone having someone else get 25. Melo would have to hit a lot of his shots and same with A.I. Teams will not just leave them open, if any one will be scoring it's going to be JR Smith because he will be open a lot of the times when the D-# has to change there game to stay on A.I and Melo. My out come for this is Iverson will avg around 25 PPG and Melo will avg 20+ a game. JR Smith around 15 PPG. Thats very deadly, if it works out.

I think we will see a fall of JR and ultimately something drastic like demanding a trade or something. I just think he demands attention and is a hot head from what I saw of him in new orleans.
Sixersfan from the RealGM boards is officially CREDIBLE!!! This is the exact deal he said would go down. But I don't like this for Philly that much. They should have gone after a young player. Miller is a top 10-12 PG, IMO, so that's good, but he's not "young." He's not "old" yet, but they should have gone after a young player. Smith is an expiring deal, so that's solid, and the 2 picks are ok, but nothing special. Denver's picks are going to be mid-1st round to mid 20's (especially considering they have Iverson now). But wow, Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony - WATCH THE F*ck OUT!

AI rarely scores being open. Most f his points come from s;ashing to the paint and getting by defenders. Nog shooting an open jumper. AI and Carmelo are both practically unguardable and are never left open in the first place.
