How the hell do you get shutout twice in a row at home? Only this organization. It's really a lifetime of heartache being a Ranger fan.

I won't say AV deserves zero blame, you look at everything after you lose and your season ends, but on the list of people to blame he is very low.

In TB we score like crazy. In NY we cannot score AT ALL. Credit TB. Knock our guys for soft efforts. All of the above. But I won't get upset when weplay with nothing and get shutout AGAIN at home. What a sad game 7 effort.

The biggest downer to me is I really think this was our shot. I don't see us making it nearly as far next season...this was the year if we were going to win the cup I think.

chuck, look at AVsplayoff record. Thats all need to be said. I am not saying he has not done a good job here but you have to wonder if we can ever win with him as coach.

I don't want to give Nash away but if you can get something decent back for him I would pull the trigger. I don't care how good he is in the regular season, for most of the playoffs he is not clutch at all. Not having Zuke was a killer against this team. But hey they were just better, their top players played better than ours on our own home ice. Bishop played great tonight albeit against a team that didn't give him anything real difficult to stop..

Two different teams, in two different cities.

Still an excellent season though not the ending we wanted obviously. They'll be solid again, maybe replace MSL with a little bigger younger FA. Good experience for Hayes and Miller.

And BTW...what really gets me going is we really barely tested Bishop in these games at home. 4 goals in 4 home games. The last 2 games maybe Bishop made a handful of solid saves. Really frustrating.

No clue what they will do this summer. MSL must be gone. Maybe you buy out Boyle. Outside of that what else can you really do? I think you resign Step and Hags. What else can you really do? I think the team will be very similar next season.

Ok. That I can agree with because it seemed like you were giving AV a pass and in no way, shape or form does that man deserve a pass. He got out coached for two straight series. Hank stole is the series against Washington, but couldn't do it tonight. It is what it is as you always say. Lots of players need to look in the mirror, starting with Nash. Thank god MSL is gone. I'd try and get rid of Boyle or Yandle as they are both the same exact type of dman, and equally as useless. Look to trade Talbot and see if we can't get a real good return from him with McIlrath or Hags. If we're gonna have AV here long term, we need to get him some skill because this team doesn't have enough.

Disappointed.... dobt care who they sign or what they do until the playoffs...

Anahiem and Chicago steamrolled teams in the first 2 rounds. This team isn't on the level of them...

Ok you say that but, how many other coaches been to two finals currently employed? Coach did a good job. Wish we knew why 11 defense men? What was wrong with McDonough

The Rangers will be good again next year, this teams window does not end tonight. But the team needs some big time tweaks and a bit of luck. You knew this was going to be a tough game tonight, it went EXACTLY the way we feared it would go.

I think you let Hags go. Need more size and skill on this team. He's too small and not enough skill for AVs system. His speed is great, but that's all he is. A small fast forward.

He's been in NY two years. One Stanley Cup final, and one Eastern Conference final. I'd say he's done a good job. How can any player show up for a game 7 Eastern Conference final not ready to give his all? 3 of 4 games at home, that they played not to lose. Disgraceful, and if the fans that paid big money to watch another egg decide to boo ... let them

3-1 down to Washington should've told us something but you don't pay attention because they won the series. You move on and hope of the best. On the surface they played a tough seven game series against Tampa. In reality they were outplayed in just about every game and this is a deserving series loss.

I agree step...good point. 2 SCF's and an ECF. Good point, he has been a really good coach in the playoffs. Well said.

The season was a huge letdown 71. Please let's not try and act as if it was a good season, all the regular season stuff means NOTHING.

I don't think we'll be nearly as good next season or make the SCF again, way too hard to do it season after season these days as the East gets better and better as well.
