tonight, I can't give them any credit. Maybe tomorrow, tonight all I want to do is blame the Rangers for not bringing it, for not going to the net, for not screening Bishop and for not being there for a rebound or two and for not taking advantage of a power play. Three of four at home, where they just couldn't bother to show up.

Oh well, they gave a long season almost into June. They should be a solid contender next year, maybe adding a FA like Glencross or another forward with some grit. I wish Buchnevich was coming over i think he could help now.

There is another team on the ice jam...Rangers were gutless at home, but not fair to say no credit to TB. They played well and deserved these wins.

The biggest downer is you cannot just continue to expect long playoff runs. Yes, they should be a good team next year but so will other teams.

1 stanley cup in 75 years. My lord, it is really tough to be a fan of this organization.

We still need a true #1 center. We need a winger like Nash, but who doesn't pussy out when it's playoff time and there's pressure and we need two dmen, one that can actually lay people out when they are in the crease and not do this olè shit these dmen do with their sticks and another who can blast a shot from the blue line.

I don't think you are putting nearly enough credence in the East getting better and it being darn hard to do this again next season after the runs we have had the last few seasons. Next season will not be easy for us to get back to this level. Won't say can't, but it will be a very big challenge to get this far again for a 3rd straight season...very big...

Just a lifetime of getting your heart ripped out. I always say this is my punishment for all the success I've seen a Yankee and NY Giants fan.

I'm with Mess on this one. Look at all these elmination games we have won. And all these game 7's. Now add in the East getting better, and us being beaten down some after all these runs, and next season will be a big challenge to get this far again.

    I wouldn't bet on it...

I just said this. Islanders are going to be better for one. You simply cannot keep just expecting this.

All these runs will certainly wear your team down. So many playoff games the last four years.

After 12 goals on the road, Something told me that the Rangers would make things difficult again at home. Just didn't see this team losing 3 of 4 at home. With this organization, I really shouldn't be surprised. To be honest, I'm not sure I really want to see Stepan back either.

Hopefully next season someone knocks Tampa out before we play them.

I am a big McDonagh guy, but I kind of hate these comments from him:

“Everyone in here gave it their best effort for sure. Just not able to make a couple of plays more than they did. They fought real hard. A great game to watch and be part of but ultimately you try to find a way to win a game and we couldn’t get any past them. They played well defensively and didn’t give us much room, credit them, they are a good club and will give a good run in the next round.”

The pp failure is a big mental drain for a team. That's where the game was lost, like game 5.

Do I really need to hear my captain say this after we get shutout at home AGAIN. I mean come on bro speak with some anger. Give TB credit, but say we weren't good enough. We didn't create nearly enough chances. We own that...I own that. Come on McD.

Yep, av just announced to. Said they froze it somehow in the locker room(guessing a lot of painkillers). Gutsy if not crazy effort by Mcd to get out there. Hope theres no long term damage as a result
