GAME 7 RANGERS-LIGHTNING -WIN AND PLAY FOR THE CUP

What else is he going to say? We watched the game, we know it wasn't a great effort

 

This team was good enough to win the Cup this year but you have to play up to your potential and they didn't do that enough.

It's a good run but at some point you need to win a cup.

Say it jam. Don't say we really gave a good effort when we all don't think that is true. I am not killing the guy, but I don't love those comments...just don't.

On the flip side, amazing he was able to play tonight considering. That would have been a huge issue even if we won tonight.

I think Mcd is a better captain than cally. He is still learning so I expect a better year from him next year.

 

Warrior for even playing no doubt. After hearing that my opinion is a little different, but I do still want him to say credit TB they played well and deserved it. On our side I don't know if we did enough. Didn't create enough chances. Cannot get shutout at home two straight. Say some of that stuff IMO.

Again not killing him, especially now, but I want a little of that.

 

There are to many times when this team does not seem to be properly motivated. That's on AV

I'm criticizing the team, not just one player. They lost 3 of 4 at home, in the Eastern Conference Finals. As a team, they didn't bring it and as a result they are done

 

I think McD will be a great captain for a lot of years here. Get healthy this summer and come back with a big Norris trophy type season next year. He didn't have his A game all season, hopefully next season he raises his level again and takes that next step.

Wonder what would have happened if we won. Could he have even played a full series on a broken foot.

I disagree. Why would any player at this level, in this series need to be motivated? If the thought of playing in the Stanley Cup finals cannot motivate you, then you should not be playing in the NHL

 

What does that do? At this point him saying that does absolutely nothing. You expecting him to throw tables and chairs?

 

No silver to show but we've had two really good seasons under AV. Take a slight step back playoff-wise but maybe next year they get over the hump.

 

Painfully obvious we need to be bigger and stronger and they need to find a spot for big mac on this team next season. Msl, hags, boyle all need to go imo.
