I don't know what to say about Drew anymore. He's batting .158 and in May he's at .144. They can't continue like this because you might as well just have the pitcher bat. I honestly change the channel when he comes to bat.

I know I really shouldn't but sometimes for lunch I'll grab a couple of big bites.

Here in NY I still love those dirty water dogs that are sold on the corners of Manhattan. And if all else fails you always have Nathan's.

I'd give him away, but it would be nice to have another SP......Niese wouldn't be my 1st or 4th choice, but I'd take the deal in a NY minute........

Out West here, those "gut bombers", at AM/PM or ARCO, are actually pretty good, and inexpensive. Plus they only serve Oscar Mayer dogs, not a bad brand at all, one of my favorites, OM.......!

59, do you know if the place on Perry's Main East West Avenue, where they sold the best damned Peach Smoothies, I have ever enjoyed. (located in b/t the McDonalds, and Burger King, or Waffle House and Wendys). Wondering if that place is still open. I'd bet it is, based on how damned good those peaches, other fruit and produce, and If I'm not mistaken, they sold a bunch of other stuff, of which I cannot recall. Hell its been 18 yrs since I lived in Perry.

NTM- they always had a line of peeps waiting for those smoothies......

The "Sonnys" BBQ in Warner Robbins, was my favorite restaurant in that town. All you can eat Hickory smoked BBQ, chicken, pork, or beef, and Spare Rib Racks......

Why they never franchised out West here behooves me. Same with the Cracker Barrel. The Closest one is in Phoenix, 8 hours away......damn near worth the drive, damn near........

Thanks for the feedback 59......the Peach Smoothie place was a tiny shack like store, being seasonal more or less of a Farmers produce stand, with a couple of other specialties, (smoothies, homeade candies, jams, knick knacks, et al.)

It's nice to speak with another, whose experienced those great eateries/places....Like yourself if I'm correct; (& If not correct me), both being ex cooks in our early years, I've long wondered/contemplating, what it would be like to have either Sonnys or the Cracker Barrel stores out here. IMO, I think both would blow peoples minds and palettes, on the West Coast. Flying potential applicants into Macon, to give a tour of the Pery Facilities, always included a trip to both Sonnys and The Cracker Barrel, as well as the Peach Smoothie stand......:breakfast: :chef: :meat: :eatveggies:

Not sure why neither is NOT out West here, or what the Franchise Fee/Loan was/is for either; & imagine both are extremely expensive......

...hmmmm...I didn't know y'all did have Cracker Barrels out West...I thought their franchises were nation-wide. But I love their food because it's all "home-style" type country country cooking like Mom and Grand Ma used to make. One thing they offer that I've never seen on any menu at any other restaurant is something my Mom used to make...good ole bread pudding...with lot of raisins and cinnamon and sugar...man, I can eat my weight in that stuff.

Well, I'll change it from a steaming pile of dog crap to a steaming pile of cow crap... cow crap can at least be used as fertilizer...
